All Over Me (1997)

There's one really simple reason I sought this movie out: Leisha Hailey. Even if she is sporting the craziest pink hair ever that screams to be washed (it's fragglier than Kate Moennig's hair as Shane. I'm not sure if it's stranger to see Leisha in her pink hair days or her with her natural brunette hair). Actually, she's not one of the main characters but a supporting character, playing a lot of cute shyness that's very different from how she plays Alice. And, wow, this movie was almost ten years ago now and you can kind of see it in how young Leisha seems. D:
That said, I didn't find this movie easy to watch, but not because it was bad, but because it's kind of... raw. ( I kind of ended up rambling about the film--quasi-spoilers ahead! )
The movie, I think, offers a lot of stuff for thought. To be honest, I kind of browsed the film before I sat down and really watched it and I didn't think I would like it, but writing this makes me realize that there are a lot of little things I liked about the film. I don't think it's a movie for everyone--it's not overly romantic or high drama or gripping mystery. I'd like to say... it tries to keep it real.
