Way to Go (MV makers)!

SNSD has been performing "Himnae!" alongside "Gee" pretty much since their comeback. This had been The Plan beforehand since while filming the MV for "Gee" (a 30+ hour filming venture?) the management decided to have the girls dance the choreography for "Himnae!" and lip-synch along with the song. Then they threw in a bunch of behind-the-scenes footage. The result? Dorky fun to the max! <3 Clearly, there's way too much downtime while filming MVs, lol. Again, with this many members and no directing, there's just as much, if not more, going on in the background as the action in the foreground. The moment that sticks out for me?: Sunny demonstrating once again that she's the member who likes to kiss people (I've seen a lot of gifs of Sunny either kissing someone's cheek or pretending to go for a lip-lock. On the other hand, Jessica seems like the member who likes to preempt someone's kissing attempting with some counter lip-pursing). These girls have no trouble amusing themselves.
SM has similarly saved money on MVs in the past: SNSD's "Baby Baby" MV used news clips and BTS footage of the "Into the New World," "Girls Generation" and "Kissing You" MVs. I love the part where Jessica is holding a pillow to her chest and Sunny's leaning on it, both of them dozing, when suddenly Sunny pops up and Jessica's like, "Wha?!" Or when YoonA forgets to dance during the INTW filming and SooYoung smacks her butt in a "get it together" way. Or TaeYeon randomly almost face-planting in the close-up shot. LOL. Dude, Jessica should not have cut her hair. ;_;
Want to hear Korean-American duo JeTi speak English? They did a recent interview with Isak on "Pops in Seoul". Interestingly, I find Jessica's English more impressive than Tiffany's, despite Jessica having lived a shorter time in the U.S. And, OMG!, a fan bought Tiffany the infamous massage chair? That's serious fanboying/girling! (On a radio show SeoHyun once confessed she was jealous of Tiffany's massage chair and in "Factory Girl" the managing editor of ELLE Girl Korea said she was shocked to see the massage chair in the apartment. LOL!)
A random snippet: SM label-mates Super Junior observing the moves of foreign dance teachers who worked with Justin Timberlake(?) (man, those choreographers can move and so can the SuJu boys who jump in). But, wait a second, who's that girl in orange standing off to the side? Is that HyoYeon? Is she practicing with the boys again* and learning moves that we'll never get to see? *sadface* (God, I desperately want to throw this girl into a dance crew or onto a show like ABDC or something. SOMETHING dance-related! Re-watching her showcase with JaeWon, which never gets old, just makes me sad inside. Good God, her body when she filmed this . . . must not think pervy thoughts about underaged Hyo!)
*HyoYeon revealed in "Girls Go to School" that when she was a trainee, she was put in the guys' dance class and thus didn't get to hang out with other future-fellow-SNSD-member trainees like Jessica and SooYoung.
