Hand aufs Herz
Jun. 4th, 2011 11:05 pmOh, SNSD/Hyo fandom, I can't cope with you anymore. (Though I do like the Japanese album! Go figure.) So I'mma watch "cute German lesbians" instead. Is that not adorable? I'm jealous. :( (Life should totally come with a soundtrack and random musical interludes. I think my life would be a lot more exciting and memorable (lol, my memory) with such accompaniment.)
I don't even know what the title of the show means. (Though since there's a dancing and singing club, I get "Glee" vibes, if "Glee" was on a quarter of its budget and an eighth of its "what is with the plot?" factor.) I don't know the other characters or what the other plots of the show are. I just know that there's a whole bunch of clips of the Jenny und Emma storyline and somehow I'm getting sucked into watching them. Also, German gets way with saying "fuck" on TV!
. . . Thanks, Nemi. You have finally succeeded in sharing your pain and suffering. ♥ Too bad there are so many clips.
I guess one of these days I'll sit down and watch the whole lesbian storyline on "Once and Again" too. Is "Skins" worth watching (or are there handy-dandy excised clips?)? Are Fingersmith and Tipping the Velvet worth reading (both books I've started--several times?--and have not followed through)? What other gaping holes exist in my lesbian pop culture knowledge?
Wow, I fail at lesbian pop culture.
