I've been sitting on my Cosima-Delphine thoughts because I was surprised by how much the "Orphan Black" season finale delighted me with their scenes. Like "possibly made the ground crumble out from beneath my feet and pitched me into helpless shipper-dom" delighted me. Sure, the two geeks served mainly as the vehicle of exposition in the episode--but they did so together.
And they were so fucking cute I almost couldn't stand it.
( TL;DR: I may be on my way to shipping Cosima/Delphine hardcore now. I want fic. GIVE ME FIC, INTERNETS. )
TV, please continue spoiling me with maintext lesbian relationships that engage me and can be treated like any other relationship on a show. I love it. I love being spoiled.
And, wait, correct me if I'm wrong, but did "Orphan Black" kinda sorta privilege the emotional relationship of a homosexual pairing over the emotional attachments of the analogous heterosexual relationship? Paul and Sarah did not get the Cosima and Delphine goodness. Just . . . huh.
