Jan. 7th, 2008 01:17 pmHello! Morning #202 - Haromoni Psychological Test (2004.03.21) is one of my favorite episodes. The title is a bit misleading because it's really not so much a psychological test, though Kaori makes a horrible pun in the beginning (shinri testo = psychological test). It's more of a popularity battle among Morning Musume members, with the "voters" having to kind of guess whom their fellow members favor.
There are two "bouts." Iida vs. Yaguchi in a "Who would you like to hang out with on a day off?" and a Kago vs. Tsuji in a "Who would you like as a girlfriend if you were a guy?" The first round of voting consists of each member's own preference. Then there follows a little bit of "appealing" that the two have to do then a question round where members get to ask questions of the two choices and then of each other to try and sound out which way the vote will go. This is where things get interesting as it reveals surprising answers as well as gives insight into how the members view each other in terms of the type of questions they ask each other.
