Raise the roof!
Feb. 7th, 2009 03:39 pmKim HyoYeon spam!!! I kind of want to huggle HyoYeon because I feel like she's the underdog of SNSD. I keep wondering what she's doing in a girl group but at the same time I can understand how it's to her advantage. I can't see her as a solo dancer-singer. Her voice won't carry her. But at the same time, being in SNSD doesn't seem to be letting her do what she wants: dance! Preferably hip-hop:

I love watching HyoYeon dance because there's such passion in her movements (and she's such a consummate dancer, rarely able to resist moving to a rhythm), but at the same time sometimes I wish they would send her to someone who will tone down her force and make her smooth out those movements. This is the big difference you see when you see YuRi and HyoYeon dancing together: YuRi is all fluid and grace (and length) while HyoYeon is a hard-hitting performer. Both YuRi and HyoYeon, though, have great performance attitudes, able to adapt to the mood of the music, which YoonA, usually the third in SNSD's "dancing trio", needs to pick up this ability from her "unnies."
