K-fandom blew my mind
Feb. 9th, 2010 10:29 amFor those interested, I have received a reply from Silis. I do not feel comfortable posting it publicly in order to respect Silis's wishes, and so I am not posting it publicly. I want us to be able to discuss it privately, but I feel like even putting it under a lock risks having it get out despite Silis's request and he's given me an answer in good faith.
That said, Is it the end of the world? No. In fact, I think it'll be an interesting discussion.
But, really, it kind of boils down to LOL IMMATURITY! taken to a SUPER DICKERY level. I'd love to know if someone can come up with an equivalent happening in an American fandom of idols and whatnot.
That said, I'm putting it under modified lock on good faith with you guys and since I don't have all of you friended, let me know you want in on this--on good faith that you respect Silis' wishes in regards to re-posting as well.
I am not adding anyone to the f-lock list unless explicitly asked here or in PM because I'm taking that to be some sign of a contract between us about not taking the post out. Where's a law student when you need one?!
