I have made a grievous error.
I watched Polytechnique (IMDB, wiki), a Quebec film based on the École Polytechnique massacre/Montreal Massacre, a school shooting that took place in December 6, 1989.
Then, as if that hadn't depressed me for hours on end, I started and just now stopped in the middle of Inch'Allah (IMDB, wiki). Good lord. I can't finish it tonight because there is absolutely no way this film can end well. (Also good lord: the number of languages in this film! French. Arabic. Hebrew. English. I feel so sad being monolingual.)
Not one of my better ideas to attempt both films in one day.
Is Café de Flore a non-depressing movie??????
(Though I have to say that because Tumblr has so many posts about Evelyne Brochu's hair, I do find myself staring at it. XD)
